Look for the Log In link at the top of the main interface/entry page, under where it says West Milford Camera Club. Once you are logged in, follow these steps:

For First Time Users - even though you are registered, your gallery will not show until you put something into it.

For new, empty galleries with NO named albums, start at step One.
For existing galleries, with named albums, start at step Three unless you need to start a new album, then start at step One.

  1. Click on "Create/Order my albums" - you need to create an album before you can upload anything. You will be presented with the Album Manager window.
  2. Click the New Button.  An album called "new album" will appear in the larger box and in the smaller text box below it.  Highlight the text (new album) in the smaller text box and replace it with YOUR NEW album name.  I have mine set up by topic.  Create at least one or as many as like.  You can always come back here and add more.  Click Apply Modifications at the bottom of the page and then Continue in the resultant window.  This will return you to the main interface.
  3. Click on Upload File at the top of the window - You will then be presented with an interface to upload a maximum of 10 files (images). Browse to the file(s) and enter it (them). Click Continue.
  4. Successful Uploads window will appear...if you did everything correctly...if not follow whatever directions appear.  Click Continue.
  5. The resultant window will display the image with the file info to the right plus some instructions as to what to do next.  Below will be a drop down box and several text boxes.  From the drop down box, select the album you wish to place the image in.  Give it a title or the file name will be used as the title.  You may also insert a description too.  Click Continue. If there was more than one file to be uploaded, you will be presented with this interface once again until all the files have been named and placed into their appropriate albums. Click Continue when complete.
  6. You will be presented with another successful upload window and you're done!
  7. Click on My Gallery at the top of the page and you will go to YOUR gallery.

Try to keep your files sizes around 100kb.  That is adequate for viewing on the web.  Have a look at the Webster gallery for examples of image sizes.  I try to keep my images to either 800 pixels across OR 600 pixels high.  When you resize and compress the images for the web, use 72 dpi as the resolution, as any more than that is pointless because the web and your monitor can't display them.
